The creators of ISALA
Marcelina
Hello! I am Marcelina, a Polish-Venezuelan living in Poland. I have been a leftist since I left Chavez's Venezuela and found out how the Western narrative completely went against my lived experience. I am a psychologist and historian active on Tiktok and YouTube, as well as writing for academic journals on topics such as women's history, Polish history, and Venezuelan politics.

Ciao! My name is Mishka - I come from Poland, I am a law student and a communist involved in the local community. I was radicalised by my grandgrandparents who were social activists and teachers in the socialist Poland. I also want to help the working class in Latin America that is threatened by the American Empire and its imperialism. This is why I felt a need to create ISALA with my comrades. We - as an international proletariat - want to do everything in our power to help South American countries and their working class.

G.
Hello! I chose my pseudonym ‘G.’ to refer to the nickname my friends call me. Although I’m also a fierce advocate and supporter of the Cuban Revolution, I choose not to show my face or my name for privacy reasons. I’m also from Hungary, and one day, I’ll be an expert in American Studies. I radicalized myself, the process beginning in 2020 when COVID hit, and finally had enough time to educate myself further. Cuba has been one of my main interests since 2019. I was asking myself everyday: “How can I help Cuba?” and now I seem to have find a way and I’m really thankful for this opportunity. My articles will mainly be about the Cuba-US relations, because of my studies.
